Went out out a friend just now and we spent the time talking about wtf.. BOREDOM??! Dont know how else to describe it...listening to how you view your life, your friends, your school..

Came back from camp yesterday..
Ahaha..damn tiring but fun..
Took on swiss cottage sec 2 people.
and the 1st and 2nd day just killed me..

1st day was a hike from their school all the way to dairy farm!
Like what on earth??
Then 2nd day was the great cow chase (hike up bukit timah hill if i'm not wrong abt the place) and dragon boating!
hahah..3rd and 4th day was ok..
Not that bad cause i dont remember doing anything that vigorous..hahahh
I think i'm not enthu enough cause people keep saying i look sleepy all the time :X
oh well..but my kids were alright though there were some really mischievous people..

There were alot of kids who wanted to try out the flying fox station but no time and our group was the last to go so my kids were damn grouchy and unhappy..
They were frowning and complaining downright..
Then i was like asking this naughty kid in my group if he can maybe try out rock climbing during the waiting time and he said something like "ok la, i dont want to make your job difficult"
So sweet!ahahah..

Then at the last day of camp they were supposed to fill up the evaluation form but i forgot to ask them to write what they felt about the trainer(AKA ME), the buddy trainer and our camp chiefs.

So sad..cannot read their comments..drats

Tomorrow i'm gonna get some highlights with vithiya and her sis!!!!!

I came here to remember something.
haha..so now theres a post...a long one...you've been warned!

On to another issue, somewhat linked...but anyway,
just read your blog.
It made me remember something important that i'd forgotten for the past few months.
I HAVE MY GUARDIAN ANGELS RIGHT BESIDE ME!!!

and then it took me back to old times..

Sec one, it was a new environment and i didnt know anyone in class except for ruishan. Then i made some friends, i sat with them, made small talks, became good friends with some people, pat sum, yuting, sharon ling, eunice, janice, yizhen etc etc. I joined the band there and had a kickass wonderful section. There were times we had disagreements and stuff but nothing too serious. I remember how meisum and jingjing were in band too and how the sec ones had a smashing time while the seniors were having their combined prac. The marching sessions we had on sat and the many practices. Then sec two swooped down and it was the same thing over through. Same environment, same group of people, same teachers. Nothing different.

Then sec three and four came and i got shifted into g3, with paula, jiesi and jayashri. I thought i was gonna die there cause the people knew each other and i was not close to any of them. hahah, but i made new friends and it went fine. yeah, got to know vithiya which is really a blessing. Then ah mah and the rest during chinese lessons. In the same year, my friendship with a close friend (at that time) soured. We didnt patch up. My bad. So then, o levels and i headed off to my next leap.

IB. New new new new new environment. I cant emphasize it enough. ac guys. mg girls. sc girls. The sarcasms, smart people, cliques. I freaked out cause people there were damn outspoken. My previous raves and rants were not entirely untrue. Got into a bcmecons/business class there. Met people like xinhui, steph, jessica, nat etc. Five words to summarize my life there -- caught up in the smarts. Really, god i felt stupid. Superficial relationships with people there, kinda like a hi bye thing. I just didnt know what to say. Some people i knew changed, voice changed for the sweeter note, acted bimbotic. So i just stoned for two years.

And after it passed, i took a job in ite dover. Way too boring. But now i wonder why i quit. met new people..i refuse to comment on my feelings there cause it'd probably be false anyway. So here i am now, msn and stuff, lying on the floor, typing, reminiscing the long gone.

I cant believe i'm waiting so patiently for the darn caterpillar to moult.

Came back from camp yesterday night and boy, it felt GOOOOOOOOD!
Cant believe a 2 day 1 night camp was that tiring..
Hahah, the fellow instructors there were damn funny..
Was stationed at the washing point during dinner last night and we had to hurry the kids when the queue gets longer..
The kids were supposed to just wash their plates and utensils in a basin filled with soap water, then go on to the sink to rinse.
Hahah..and some kids were still meticulously washing every speck of dirt off their plates..
Dont know why but it was really funny looking at the plates or bowl they brought

Oh well...and after the trek and everything, my toe is pain as £$?@*&*% now!!
hurt it while playing badminton on mon,
the nail got injured and its bloody bruised..dammit

Was thinking bout some things on the way back..

I cant help but feel so shallow at times..
I hate it that while i'm working to feed my materialistic desires, there are yet others out there who cant even make enough to feed themselves.
I hate it that i can spend my money so freely while others scrimp and save to stay alive.
I hate it that when i feel life sucks, i'd tell myself there're people out there worse off than me.
I hate it that i can be so mindful of such reality and even as i type this, make no effort to do anything..
Just chuck them to a corner..nice and snug..
yeah, i understand now, what it means. Out of sight, out of mind..

Until one fine day i'm caught in the same situation, i'd hope for people around me to be more generous with their love..
But love for mankind is a little too overrated, coming from human beings, that is.
To love's to accept people for who they are, thats what you get reading quotes and stuff from writers.
But i think thats hard cause we, as people, set standards, acceptable standards at the very least.
Thinking back, schools proclaim they accept students.
But then again acceptance might only be meant for words..cause in this world, we dont accept, we judge. Face it, we do, every single little details, be it our standard of english, skin colour, occupation or intellect.
To be truthful, i hate it the way some people judge, how some people in school fawn over expressed intellect.
yeah, i'd bet you're judging me now as you read and i thank you if you dont though thats quite rare.

People are selfish creatures..i am selfish, i dont deny..
and thats bad, real bad.

i'm so tired now the guilt's drilling into me..

Screw the indecisiveness..

Went to NTU to sight see yesterday and all i saw was HDB apartments?! or what looks like them. Took leave to apply for psychology, mass com and business over there due to lim yu ting's influence.hahaha..thanks alot huh! and there you go, i did mention you!:D

so,

i boarded the bus at the boonlay interchange and asked the busdriver to let me know when to stop cause, you know just how big ntu is..and also what a noob i am.

and guess what??

we passed ntu's hall 1..

and 2..

and 3..

he drove past all the different departments there were in the uni..

he accelerrated to go uphill..

he made all the turns around the bends..

he made one last final turn..

AND THEN HE WENT OUT OF THE UNI!

and i didnt even know about that till i saw the bus heading back to where we came from

hahahaha..quite funny but walking in the 2 o'clock sun back was definitely no joke!

so there..if you ever need directions from bus drivers, just stand right in front of them as they drive so at least they know you, or rather your question exist.

It was a pretty awesome good friday!Went to Raffles City with Vithiya on Friday!A studying session turned out good.we did actually mug, until we cracked. we decided to eat fried MARS BARS!very very sinful, but pleasurable.we had wanted to eat doughnuts from across the stall but the queue was dreadfully long.naturally, we crossed it out of our minds.its insane!vithiya said you could wait 5 hours before it was your turn.5 hours!whoa!so here's the treat

pretty wonderful...oh well.oh, and A walk to remember is darn good.such a sweet movie!

just a random thought,i cant believe i'd be spending half or more of my life slogging for what says you? the future?oh, the wonders of life.

and the never ending homework. not something that goes away after you finish one set.it keeps piling, like "i'm gonna keep at your heels and land you in deep shit if you don't continue to run".

so i'll stop blogging for a while.

i woke up this morning feeling kind of blue
and i stumbled out of bed and
dragged my feet across the room
right outside my front door was a rose
and a note that said "somebody loves you"
but out on the street it starts to pour
and before i get soaking wet
a total stranger runs to give me

i turn around to thank him
but he waves me with a smile
i can hardly believe my eyes

i met a good friend for lunch
and we had a delicious meal
but i forgot to bring my wallet
i felt like an imbecile
but she was sweet,she gave me a treat and
bought me a chicken sandwich
to take home for tea
but out on the street with nothing to eat
a man and his shopping cart go
travelling to places
collecting social graces
i give him my sandwich
and we chatter for a while
i see a rainbow wash over his eyes

NUS open house was alright, not that i can criticise it openly anyway. oh well...it was a bore (to put it bluntly) but other than the talk, everything else was informative. oh, yes, and the cupcakes they sold were simply irresistible... to the eyes, that is.They were just so pretty you had to get one for yourself! which is exactly what my cousin and i did.

love them. dont you?

oh my, i'm slogging in the library shelving the books all in the name of CAS! and we thought we could slack and complete our EE or TOK there, didn't we?

Argh!Its back to the school!yes, the school!Arghhhh! I dont think i can ever get use to this with a promiscuous flirt around. she can be so sweet and sociable one moment and when you are alone with her...an instant ice bitch!Like WHOA! i dont need that pretence! argh! thank goodness for the juniors that came in this year and some of the good friends of mine. THANK GOD! argh...i shall continue no more lest i say anything worse and furthur more...its the start of the year.just the start.

2 more weeks!just 2 freaking short weeks to the exams!And worse to come is my piano exam that had to be slotted so coincidentally 2 days before the actual exams.and i'm saying final year exams. I DON"T WANT TO GET RETAINED!no no no!ok...enough of complaining. i had better start focucing on my studies if not the dreaded remedials after that would most probably leave me with nothing but regrets. so long, people! gotta start studying and make myself feel pretty smart when doing the practice questions...or rather stupid when i figure i don't know how to do any of them?sheesh.

Anyway, to all people studying for their final year exams,cheers to you. i'm in it with you too,caught up in the crazy mugging rush.

Tuition tuition and MORE tuition!Actually i am exaggerating. Only two and i am complaining.So much for perserverance. Yeah,i have to admit though, i can't persevere that well, a least not in a long distance run. Sweaty,stuffy and uncomfortable! Think about that!Utterly distusting.

Yesterday couldn't have been better!I met up with jiesi and vithiya! great-wonderful-fantastic-estatic day it was!i just love hanging out with them. But it makes me feel guilty.i was supposed to be studying.mugging like what most people my age are doing for their promos.hah.that can wait...actually,no it can't.but anyway, jiesi was such an actress!haha...she told us that she was not joining us but in the end she came from her school!hah.that crappy girl!oh and i just watched Mr and Mrs Smith!bought it yesterday at the video shop next to mcdonalds with jiesi and vithiya.it was freaking CHEAP!3 vcds for the price of just $15 which means its $5 for 1!And its definitely not pirated.but there is a trade off,of course,the vcds that are out for sales used to be those that were rented out to people.so it's second hand stuff.but, who cares?!its in good conditions and can be used! Isn't that all that matter?!hah.

oh no.Someone please whack me. I'm spending too much time playing instead of studying!Gah.and my exams starts in the beginning of oct!Better study,for now.yeah,i know,i'm kinda slack.Nov 2007,please arrive sooner.your arrival is very much welcomed and anticipated.

I wonder how the people in shops selling health products actually do so well!ok, here goes. I was trying to do a survey for my business report - to see if these shops were willing to sell home-made peanut butter(the organic one using..i think olive oil). Yeah,so i called the shops and guess what?!I got turned down!Rejected!One "product director" of a shop(i'm not naming it) even told me straight that they "do not entertain survey".The audacity!I AM so amused! I have an inkling now to why some people these days fake their results.Ahhhhhhh.So frustrating!

Mmm.BUT,maybe i could use this excuse to hand in shoddy work instead of something along the lines of "my hamster nibbled on my work and now its full of holes so i had to rush and ... ...". Haha,yeah i wish!And i could forget fantasizing about using that excuse with the teacher of mine!haa.

The September holidays are here and this just brings back all the fond memories of crescent. All those crazy stuff i do, hanging out with the whackiest people i've ever known. oh,the fun of it. Now gone,literally into a thing of the past. No more of such things. Not anymore. Not ever. Its crazy how time really changes things. It steals.It robs me of the people i am close to and plonk me into a totally new and distasteful environment. I would never had stepped into the place if i knew this was going to be how i was to spend my next two years,all quiet and guai(good...mmm...what it really means is un-naughty in chinese).Hell no. Well,perhaps yes. But only for the programme and definitely not for the people. I mean if you were to ask me if it were that bad, i guess some people are really nice. Some are part of the greatest people i had ever met. But the thing is that,i dont know why, i just feel so lonely in this school. Ever get that feeling?Everybody talks and stuff but its always back to being alienated. This isn't how it used to be like! NONO.Where had all the laughters and fun times gone to?All the times i used to have real fun and not just laughing for the darn sake of laughing.Thats why i really miss the crescent environment and of course, the people in there!Maybe you were right,that i am not sociable at all.Perhaps i had lived in this facade that everyone is nice for just too long. Sheesh!If it were so,then maybe i shall follow the people here and start to buy real fake smiles to make the day better. The disgusting makeover. Here's to shopping!

On a lighter note,crescent's gala dinner on the 2nd sep, saturday,was a success i would say! It was really fantastic meeting up with the people i so dearly miss!I met up with Meiling at orchard mrt station and we went to shop for the clothes i was supposed to wear.imagine!shopping for my black clothings 3 hours before the performance itself.hetic,haha,a mad rush.then,we went to eat at Taka and met shuang ying and yuting. yuting was late!tsktsk!after dinner we went to the hotel to play for the concert.a great night to behold!woohoo!i just love the people there in crescent!
